Heiligenblut is located in the north of the Austrian province of Carinthia which is known for its beautiful nature with beautiful lakes, elongated massifs and many historical bezienswaarigheden. Heiligenblut lies in the area that is called “Nationalpark Hohe Tauern”. This is the largest protected area of the Alps around the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3798 meters).

Heiligenblut is always pleasant and lively picturesque village with several shops and cozy restaurants. From the center of Heiligenblut you have a beautiful view on top of the Grossglockner. If you like more quietness you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings of house, five minutes from Heiligenblut, in the beautiful mountain landscape near Heiligenblut. The house is situated at 1450 meters altitude on the south side of the Grossglockner. In the summer this leads to a lot of sun, but you can always enjoy the fresh mountain air.
